Montipora Problems (Identification Help Needed) and More

Quick question guys.... the Jason Fox Violet Orange I got a couple weeks ago seems to be having problems. Is the coral bleaching? I’m just not familiar enough with SPS to identify the issues I am running into. Note: there is a picture of the coral about a week and a half ago until now. I did increase lighting intensity from 50% to 60% running AB+ on a pair of XR15w G4 Pros.

Additionally, how does the health of the other coral photos I post look? I think I just have pictures of the Spongeodes, Porites and the Purple Rim at the moment. I also have a Setosa that looks like it’s doing the same thing as the Violet Orange, just not to as great of a degree.

All the SPS has been in my tank about three weeks (except the Porites and Setosa which has only been in it a week and a half).

Tank Parameters
Alkalinity: 7.7 dKH (Salifert)
Nitrate: 2.5 ppm (Salifert)
Phosphate: 0.05 ppm (Hanna)
Temperature: 78 degrees

What are your par numbers? An increase in light can make them bleach like that.

I had this issue with my montis in a newish ~3 month old nano. I lowered whites and increased blues, started doing wc every other week instead of weekly to raise nutrients, and they colored back up.

I don’t know what my PAR numbers are yet, if I was guessing they were probably around 200-300 at 60% intensity. I’m waiting on the club meter to check it.

I’ve increased feeding a bit to help combat this.
