Can you get a picture w/o so much blue lighting? It will be much easier to ID it that way.

It definitely is a confusa. It takes a while before you are going to see the vertical growth.

I don't have to google it I own 3 different types of undata and 3 different types of confusa.

I think he's saying this because he bought the coral as the ORA purple undata which it definatly resembles. Weather or not it is a Undata or Confusa i don't know because im not that big on monti's.

oh ya..just looked it up. ORA miss-identifies another coral.....I don't know why they are so bad at that.

Definitely Mystic Sunset. Half blue polyps give it away.

Here is mine with no LED and only t5s on (sorry its so dark but took the pick in a hurry before going outta town...tis but a little chunk.

JF Violet Orange ... much brighter in person, sorry no macro lense

my lfs has this piece frequently. possibly a local with a large colony. i purchased it under the name of mystic sunset.

Actually it is a mystic sunset. the LEDS are accentuating the blue in the polyps. But it still is one.
