I have had this spongodies for years. It always had the normal coloration. One portion the normal brown polyps are turning green. It is the portion closest to the lighting but it is in the same spot since i got it. The higher light area usually had a purplish ting on new growth but not as bright as a confusa. Is this coloration something lacking in the water?

Interesting... I've had the one below for years as well and polyps have only varied from brown to brick red depending on lighting ??? and now under LED's do get the purplish growth tips. Have always liked this coral and though common not commonly seen if Reeftanks much nowadays.

Cheers, Todd
