Montipora worm

My montipora randomly started dying back a few weeks ago with no real change in parameters. Today I noticed this worm messing with it. Anyone know what it is and is it something that eats montis or is is snacking on the algae that’s growing on the dead spots?

Kinda looks like a mini brittle star leg. Just a guess.
It’s not I’ve seen both ends of it at once. That is what I though at first as well. It’s segmented and has a “hairy” mouth but not like a spaghetti worm. My inclination is that it might be a
 
Looks like a dorvillidae worm which is a cousin to the bristle worm
