I read in an aquarium magazine yesterday that moon lights can help prevent fish from wanting to jump out of the tank at night. Anybody else ever heard anything about that?

it may keep them from being spooked and shooting off..

I had a Linespot wrasse try to jump out the tank when it the lights switched off to dark, which he tries at least two times a week (top of tank is way to high from water surface to jump out). Maybe, it has to do with the fish spooking when it goes dark. A survival response of some sort...

I've never heard of it before, but maybe it has some validity. I'd like to see if some other members chime in with their experience. If so, it's a cool trick to keep those jumpers in our tanks.
