I just made the switch over from a Digital Aquatics Archon to the Apex 2016 controller. Over the years, I had invested in having just about everything for the Reefkeeper. While I am almost done switching everything over to the Apex, I left my moonlights running on a Reefkeeper Lite while my LSM and lunar pods arrived. Now that they're here, I was looking at the configuration options for the LSM and well, I ended up dizzy.
Perhaps it's just that I'm new to the Apex language and it seems more complicated than it really is and while it would be nice to have everything set up through the Apex and visible/tweakable through Fusion, it just seems so much easier to leave the moonlights running separately.
Just to give you an idea - I have a 180 and my current setup is 8 DA lunar pods over 2 MLC modules. What I have in a box is an LSM with a 3-string set of moonlight pods.
I'd like to get some ideas and feedback from those of you who have tried both and can give me some real-life comparisons on whether it's worth switching out my current setup.
