Current water parameters - Triton ICP test

I will order Potassium, Strontium and Iodine supplements to boost the levels just a bit
Aluminium and Lithium seem to be pretty high, every time I get an ICP test done. (maybe the ceramics or the reef-bond)
Corals look pretty good IMO so I'm pleased with the results.

@Maritimer Here is a better look at my posters - I got them as a souvenir on my last holiday
At the same time - you complimented the "bigger" corals - I'm sorry to say that I had to trim the monti caps a few days ago >.<
They just grew onto the glass and cast a really big shadow - it looked really bad

Thought it's time for another quick update

So far the tank is doing pretty good.
Colors are an 8/10, look great - could be better - but I'm not going to complain
The additional two 54w T5s, ATI blue+ have brought out some nice colors and SPS as well as LPS seem to like it a lot.

Growth is somewhat slow as the PH is between 7.8 and 8.0
It's really hot at the moment and I close the window all day to keep the 95+°F outside of my room...
I use the AC to keep the room at somewhat bearable 75°F and the tank around 80°F.
I know that is on the warmer side but what can you do about it

I have that really odd issue of Nitrates being on the higher side of ~10 ppm and Phosphate being barely detectable by my Hanna ULR checker.
Not using any GFO or similar way to remove Po4, it's just very low.
Not really worried about it but definitely something to keep my eyes on. Maybe I'll use some No3Po4-x when nitrates go higher and SPS colors darken.

Sadly the male bangaii cardinal passed away yesterday, that poor guy
He got beat up a while back by the purple tang ;Blackeye and lost some weight since then, not on the belly but on the top/back and overall looked pretty rough.

I don't want to end the update on sad news so:
1. tomorrow I'll get a shipment from Whitecorals and I'll show some pictures of what I ordered if you guys want to see
2. I will post a FTS and some eye-candy in a few minutes, for whoever reads this thread, to enjoy

My delivery arrived and here is what I got

One firefish - ate pellets and mysis in the box so I dumped him in right away.
Got hunted by the two tangs - no beating though - for now he is hiding in the corner.
Reminds me of the purple one I once had... was hiding for two weeks until I saw it again



As for corals I got these three Acropora:

Acropora listeri - looks blue on the photo but it's snow white... did not like the shipping

Might give this an update while I'm at it.

Suff has changed for the better and the worse - Fish. Coral. Gear. - just the way it is /

Don't understand this the wrong way! I was not NOT documenting the tank.
