Should I leave them on or just turn off lights?
This question is mainly concerning my anemone because when I have my lights on looks rely nice and bubbled up but once I turn off it starts to shrink opens its mouth and starts spitting brown... Looks like it's dead or dying but once lights go on in the morning all nice again so confused

its having a bowel movement generally at night they shrink up recharge and do there thing.
if they look like that during day and for extended time something is wrong.
what you describe seems norm.
the moon light is for your pleasure so if you put it on a timer or controller have it on till YOU go night night
