Moonlights??

Hey Guys I've been wondering.. who uses moonlights and what are the pros and cons of using them.. I've heard by some they are necessary and I've also heard they are not. What are Y'alls opinions

Not needed. Nice if you want to view the tank at night.

I had a tuxedo urchin that only spawned at night with the moon lights on. Poor gal, she was in the tank alone. But I think the moon lights are only important if you want to mimic the moon cycle for some species. I have a video someplace if you want to see the proof.
