Mooonlight mode. Good or bad?

I have never heard of a tank crashing due to corals spawning. In fact spawning is the confirmation you are doing things right.

I mean it shouldn’t crash and I’ve never had coral spawn unfortunately I’ve also never heard of the type of coral I keep being known to release fertilized eggs in captivity, I mainly just keep zoas and mushrooms... my friend has had his torch and many of his sps spawn though and that’s pretty cool

I agree, I imagine that spawning might be crazy, I have seen videos of corals and fish spawning mainly acros, turn out as free food for the tank mates. I guess the risk might be bigger for larger tanks with bast colonies or several clams.
