hello all,
i recently came into my second ever moorish idol. this specimen is right around 2" and eating very well which is the only reason i agreed to take him. my only other experience with keeping one of these was a specimen that was unfortunately already infected with velvet and didn't make it through QT. i currently have the new guy in a 4' x 2' tank with a sailfin tang the same size, bcw, melanarus, trio of chalk bass and a tiger watchman goby. i feed: reef frenzy, nori, and new life. he accepts the frenzy and shows interest in the nori sheets but prefers picking off rocks for now, still working on getting him over to the pellet diet.
i am aware of the extreme difficulty faced with this species, any and all help appreciated.
