Well I came home to my hammer picked clean. The most likely culprit is my MI. Seems to be a case of a fish suddenly turning. I added a lineatus and rhomboid a couple weeks ago but before that everything had been in the tank for at least 6 months with out incident. I think I would have a hard time giving up my MI considering how finicky they are and how much I've worked to keep him fat and happy. The other option would be to go the predominately sps route, how much of a chance is there that the MI would nip sps?

Edit: I do have some genicanthus angels so I suppose there is that possibility.

Either have the possibility of nipping SPS. Either have the possibility of nipping LPS as well.
I'd keep an eye and see who goes back for the last morsels to get a better clue of the culprit.

Genicanthus are considered almost entirely reef safe.

Idols pick at and even eat coral somewhat often.
