I've heard that moray's are somewhat resistant to these types of parasites. Does anyone have any experiences? Also are moray's sensitive to ozone?

They are very resistant to ich and even velvet. However, they are still likely to be disease carriers capable of infecting other fish.

My thoughts exactly. So unless the eel is the only thing you keep, you'll need to worry about these parasites.

Why about the green wolf eel? I’m losing my tank to velvet and I really don’t want to lose him! He doesn’t present with any symptoms right now, so I’m hoping he can survive.

Green wolf eels are actually not eels, they are in the Pseudochromidae family (dottybacks) and they can develop velvet. They are however, pretty tough fish overall. Are you able to treat the tank with anything?
