I have a 11 inch chainlink moray eel currently in a 150 gallon tank I was wondering about adding another small moray eel species such as a snowflake, skelator moray, or a mexican pale nose moray eel. Is this possible does any one have experience with multiple moray eels in an aquarium.

In college I had a zebra and a green stripe together and they did great together.

I've had bad experience with mixing eels but that's me. However I had a small green moray and a fire coral, so two very aggressive species. In one of my tanks now I have a snowflake and was going to try a zebra. As long as you have enough rock work you should be fine.

Our tank doesn't have any corals. It's FOWLR. And the video portrays a tesselata and what looks like a black moray. Tesselata a are one of the most aggressive eels you can house in a home aquarium. We have a chainlink moray and are wanting to add a palenose moray. They are both of the same genus. The chainlink is 11in long and so is the palenose. The chainlink is already housed with a toby puffer and some hawkish, and other fish about the same size. He is seriously mellow. So we are wanting some tips on how to successfully mix the two. Anyone that has done this before please let us know how it went for you. :)

I didn't see that you have a 150 gallon. You have the six foot one correct? The eels should be fine, just make sure you have plenty of rock.

We actually have 3 medium pieces of instant reef, with a 10 inch eel cave from instant reef with live rock behind the instant reef
