Moray Eels - Creepy or Cool?

What's not to love?
But most, I suspect, are best left in the ocean.

I love my 2 golden dwarfs. They are always curious and do not bother any of the other tank mates. Feeding them is fun.
I love my dwarf golden Bobby. He's actually my second one. I lost my first one during a tank transfer (I think he burned himself on the a heater) but he would still be going strong.

I have a zebra moray and it is a great fish. It does spend a lot of time in the rocks but it also comes and cruises the tank, especially when it's hungry. Not a fish eater, so safe with my other fish. It is in an 8 foot tank. I would not recommend it for a smaller tank.

Creepy..and...cool.

But, you usually only see their head, if that, since they seem to like to stay hidden away in daylight!
No mine is in full view almost all day with tons of rock for him to hide. He is in with a Zebra and Snowflake. You do need a large tank with good filtration. Thanks

I've always had one. I don't think I'll buy another. They are just a lot to deal with once full grown

I really want a eel as well. However I can't decide which one I want.
From what I can tell, there are 3 kinds of eels; dwarf (only 1 species), 2 foot or 4 foot.

I started with a 75 so that's why I have a dwarf. I saw a full grown snowflake and it scared me, lol. Now I have a 210 so I wouldn't be opposed to it.

They're awesome. I've worked with them for years at the fish store I worked at in Highschool.

Recently picked up my first personal snowflake for my 230gal reef and although just a baby, love her. She only has one eye and I have a soft spot for these sort of things in a store. Eats like a champ!

Beautiful. My son loves them. Just ordered him a yellowface Pike Blenny so he could have his own golden dwarf "eel"
