Hi,

I was hoping for a few opinions on whether I should get some extra flow in the tank. It’s a standard 120(4’x2’x2’). Currently I have 2 MP40’s running on various programs throughout the day. The corals all seem happy and everything is growing great, a few slow growers but I’m overall happy.

I was thinking of trying Tunze out and was wondering if anyone had any opinions on adding 2 more pumps or would you let it be? I’ll attach a picture so you can see the rock scape. Kind of 2 islands and nothing is hitting the glass in the back.

Thanks I’m advance for any opinions!

All the corals are look great. Good PE, everything has flow around it, I just have a few dead spots. Here is a screenshot of what I run. From 2030 it transitions down till 0230 then back up till 0800. My other MP40 is pretty much anti-sync with its own transition too.

Wont hurt to experiment with, I dont see anything that might get inversely affected

True, I just don’t want to fork over another $300 if it’s not worth it. I could put that somewhere else. I guess I could possibly try and dial everything back a bit as well.

If everything is happy, why change?
