I've had this bta for over a year and a half and when I got it man was it bubbly.(1st pic) It lasted about a month be for it stopped bubbling up all together.(2nd pic) Its been perfectly healthy and has only split once. I read and was told that some Btas just don't bubble up and sometimes there is no reason. I tried feeding more, I tried feeding less, I tried more flow and less flow but not until I tried more light did I get results. Up to a month ago the only light over my 29 was a ai prime, which I assumed was more than enough for my entire tank including my BTA. But I noticed my BTA reaching up towards the light even though it was positioned high in my tank, so even though I knew it was over kill I put a kessil 160we right over the bta and so far it's really helping. Every morning it's more bubbly and every day it lasts longer through out the day.(3rd and 4th pic) I'll take one in the morning tomorrow cause that's when it's best for some reason.

Congrats that's one thing that's still got many variables to making it bubbly. We're having the same problem with ours was fully bubbly for months didn't move. It decided to move into more light n flow lost its bubbles. Been turning up the leds n looking like it wants to but not fully. Yet coloring is awesome green to Orange to red to pink tentacles just beautiful but can't keep bubbly.

Wow would love those colors. Mine was really stretching towards the prime so much so it was blocking light from the other corals, I pretty much had to do something.

I noticed that mine was a bottom dweller and stayed on the same rock for about a year. I was using chinese LED's and it looked beautiful, but never bubbled.. I took it from the tank during tear down, and put it in a new tank that had a Kessil over it.. The thing moved off the rock it was on, to a better location for it, and is super bubbly now.
Now only if my CF will take host I will be super happy..LOL

My c.f. took a month or two to notice it. Then again it was very busy with my Duncan.
