More plumbing questions

I would use the 1" as the main drain and the 3/4" as the emergency drain.
Not sure what the pump is or how much head loss you are looking at but the return line may need a valve on it.
I was thinking the opposite. Let the 3/4" be the full siphon, possibly without a valve, and let the bigger pipe have what's left. Seems safer to me. That way if(when) a blockage happens, there is a unrestricted 1"pipe to take over. Compared to something clogging a restricted 1" main and only having a 3/4" emergency pipe. Wouldn't matter with that return pump, but seems more ideal
 
i have a locline with 2 "arms" and 2 regular nozzles, i forgot the name but its like a cone
For a first time plumbing job and going with a over the top return I would use flexable tubing and a return nozzle similar to what a canister filter return would be.

I already have loc line if thats what your saying, but should i just get 4ft of braided and a spigot x barb to do the over the back ?

It seems like your message is bugged. I already have a 10ft piece of 3/4" so I would perfer to use it. Do you think that would be okay?
