So, I currently have a Valentini puffer and 2 clowns in my 20 long QT tank. I had them settle in for three days - they are all eating likes champs (frozen, pellets, flakes). I started first round of Prazipro today. I plan on changing 50% of the water in 7 days and then redosing for an additional 7 days.

So here's my next question - can I move these fish into a sterile 10 gallon QT tank to begin the copper treatment?

Why you ask, bc I would like to run carbon on the 20 gallon and get it ready to QT my next two fish - a dwarf angel and a butterfly. I thought, it would take a week for the carbon to take full effect and clear up the 20 gallon. This would put the QT process for the puffer and clowns and the butterfly and angel about three weeks apart.

The goal would be to then treat for copper for the butterfly and angel in the 20 gallon long.

Thoughts???

Yes - in hindsight I should have just started the clowns and puffer in the 10 gallon. However that ship has sailed...lol!

Ok now I understand lol. If it were me, I’d probably just get another 20g and leave things how they are. Also, you only have to run the carbon for 24hrs to pull out the prazi

I have the 10 gallon up and running - so I would prefer not to get another 20 gallon! Thanks for your insight.
