Spent some time at Sara's last night, testing out my new macro flash bracket. It's going to need some practice and perfection, but it'll be a lot better than having the flash mounted on the hot shoe. Here are some of the results. Very excited to get a good shot of the pylei male in full "flash" mode. It's hard to do justice to the lime green color it generates.

Wow very nice pics and fish collection

Great shots Gary! That little Cirrhilabrus naokoae is a stunner! Can't wait to get a shot of him flashing as well!

sweet pictures gary!!!!! how about a pic of your set up (camera, flash) I have been trying to work on fish pics and its not workins so well.

Excellent as always Gary. That 135 is poke your eyes out sharp, it is on my list of want to get lenses!

These are stellar my friend! Sarah your fish selection is to die for! :D

Thank Rev, Poseidon. Mike, agreed on the 135L. I love using that chunk of glass. It delivers crispness, color, and contrast like no other lens I've seen. Next on my list is the 200/2.8, which, I'm told, is the equal of the 135.
