Morish idol lost his dorsal fin

My morish idol doesnt have dorsal fin, (i bought it online), looks like it nipped or snapped off. Will it grow back? Im really hoping its to grow back, thankyou

Hey.. Based on what I just read on Google, it says it will grow back.

In the wild long dorsals and streamers can get snapped or nipped at easily so to combat this, they can regrow.
Fish can regrow find as long as it doesn’t go into the flesh. By the looks of it yours has still got a bit of the streaming dorsal so it should regrow back nicely. It may not look how you want it too yet but that is more than likely due to the size of the fish.

I’ve had a moorish idol. That dorsal fin will grow back VERY fast. Seemingly overnight. It’s honestly kind of crazy!

Don’t worry about that. Just make sure it eats well.

Dorsal fins come and go on Moorish Idols. Like Miami sais, it can grow back in a week.

Hello guys, so my redsea ab+ is cross contaminated with my tank water, my tank water spilled about 2ml water to the ab+ bottle. It is still ok to use?

I believe it should be fine. Just make sure you still keep it refrigerated.
