Things still going OK! Torch garden coming along but not growing as fast as I would like haha My near death elegance is still hanging on after the freshwater dip. . . Hope it bounces back but not holding my breath.

Some corals growing, some kinda just chillin, others might need some work.

“Upgraded” the sump a little. Made a less ugly mount for the pumps (it rattles a little, but not like the last set up was quiet haha). Got a slightly bigger pump for the main display. Upgraded the tubing to the correct size tubing for the pump haha!

Did a little fragging. Was not intending to frag the mycedium. . . But I broke it when moving the rocks so went ahead and fragged it all the way:

So things are kinda going to hell. . . mostly cause of me haha.

Changed my fish stocking, which involved me removing all my rock work to catch the previous fish. Current stocking is 2 clowns, 1 springeri damsel, 1 six-line, and one cleaner goby (I think, I haven't seen him since the move?). I haven't witnessed it, but I think the 6-line has attacked the damsel as it has what looks like a large wound behind it's gill (surprise surprise that the 6-line would be a jerk). I am trying to keep the water clean and dipped the damsel. Clowns are fine but one is a bit on the skinny side. . .

Sooo that has been a bit of a debacle that did not go according to plan.

Then I decided to kill all my volunteer pocillopora as it was starting to sting some corals I like more. . . this went surprisingly well, for the most part. I removed all the rocks and uses very thick kalk paste on the pocillopora. Unfortunately I missed a few spots, but the spots I hit look very dead.

So with all the changes and chaos I have one injured fish, a missing fish, a few angry corals, a lot of broken branching corals, nutrients higher than I would like and and and andlajdsflakjdflahgkha;kdjgfha'

Oh and before all of this I added a sabae anemone that WILL NOT PUT ITS FOOT DOWN!!! So I have a backet holding the nem blocking light and getting in the way. . .

Corals probably could look happier, though things are still alive (fingers crossed). Tested alk and cal this morning and were a bit lower than I would like so I am adjusting doses (again) didn’t test N or P cause I ran out of time but will tomorrow. Few corals not as happy as they could be but gotta keep on chugging along for now. . .

So if I didn’t already say it. . . EVERYTHING WENT TO HECK!!!

I ran my alk reservoir dry without noticing and dropped my alk to 5 in a matter of days. . . cal has been jumping around but not as bad. . . Then dropped my nitrate to 0.0. . .

Bleached/killed some acros, had crazy algae (maybe dinos), and so on.

I also probably cause even more problems by trying to rapidly correct all the issues.

That said many of the corals continue to do well so I will try to leave things alone for a bit.

Also added a lawnmower blenny and a Kupang Damsel (was looking for something that could keep up with my evil 6 line. . . And even at half his size the damsel has held his own)
