Most peaceful clownfish for bta

Hello I have btas splitting left and right and I want to keep that going. Here’s the problem the fish maroon clowns that are 6-7 mos in my tank probably juvenile will not allow for the introduction of any new fish. I just added several fish and the maroons are very aggressive toward them. So I removed the clowns and now they are in an acclimation box. Now I have several anemones without the clowns tending to them and they don’t seem the same.

here is my question. What clowns should I add to replace the maroons? I love the symbiotic relationship and can’t imagine my 100g 5’x20” tank with out that symbiosis. Here’s my list of fish in the tank

Blue headed wrasse 5”. New add from other Reefer tank
Blue throat trigger 4”
Tomini tang 3-4”
Midas blenny. New
Yellow Coris. New
Small royal flasher new I haven’t seen it yet introduced 2 days ago
Mandarín new haven’t seen yet either
Bicolor blenny new

Any suggestions of clowns that I could add which would be good to pair with my anemones?

Here’s another question. If I move the rocks with my anemone to say the back corner of the tank is it possible to reintroduce the maroons or are they so aggressive that they will go back to terrorizing? Thanks for any advice.

"Peaceful clownfish" are not going to be a common find. Most will end up at least defending their spot in the tank, if not ruling it completely. If you want the most peaceful kind, try skunk clownfish. If you want the most peaceful ones that are likely to use the BTAs, try Bicinctus clowns. Bicinctus are still more aggressive than some species, but they shouldn't be mean to the point of endangering other fish, and they look really good. I hope that this helps!

I would say that while it may happen, you shouldn't count on it. They would probably prefer the overflow grate or a powerhead over the bubble tip. I theorize that this is because they would get pushed out of BTAs in the wild by the maroons and clarkiis that would inevitably show up to a BTA, and are nervous. I'm going to say 50/50 in the long run.

If I could edit the title it would be “least aggressive clownfish”. No they aren’t peaceful on balance but the stinkin maroons are another level of aggressive.

The maroons are the deadliest in my view , all clowns are kinda brutish . I would try P clowns and get them small.

Maroon one of the worse, territorial hand biters

They are beautiful fish but they suck/ they are violent. I think I will try a pair of bicinctus or some black saddles but first I’m going to relocate my anemone garden to an area to the far side of the tank.
