Which of your fish have the most personality or are your favorite? Hands down my Valentini Puffer and Melanurus Wrasse are the most ridiculous pair. My puffer will follow me around when I am cleaning the tank with his big ol' eyes. And my Melanurus will be a total spazz, run into the glass, try and photo bomb every picture I try and take and swim around in circles like a crack head.

Potters Angel. Gorgeous fish with lots of personality :)
(not my photo, can't get a good one of mine as she never stops moving)

Next choice would be my Kole Tang

I don't think a tank of mine is complete without a blennie of one sort or another. They are always watching you before you can even find them. I've had a couple clowns over the years that were like puppies. I had a guinea fowl puffer for a number of years that liked to spit water at unsuspecting observers. My favorite, however, was my 4' Gymnothorax Undulatus (Undulated Moray). His name was Hannibal. If he was hungry you didn't dare take the lid off the tank - he was going to be looking for food. Once he was fed (several hand sized filets a week), he would stretch out along the surface so I could pet him. Felt like a wet leather belt. We were buddies for 25 years.

That’s awesome. I would hand feed and pet my zebra moray all the time.

I was just going to compliment the photo... now I can do it without feeling guilty since it's not yours. :-)

Definitely my Moorish Idol, he just can't contain himself when i walk up to the tank. He's in my business lobby so hes pretty accustomed to people. Highly recommend if you can find one that eats.

He's 16 and still likes my finger for a snack.

Do you have a side shot of this beauty?

I had a zebra that would let me do that on occasion and a 2ft chainlink if you would believe it.

A s&s puffer has been the most personable. It would roll over for a belly rub and trick you into getting close enough to splash you.

My foxface and bigger angels have been really outgoing. My current emporer is only 4" tops and has tons of personality.

Probably my maroon clownfish, she’s usually following my movement, although her receptiveness comes from it’s eager to attack rather than curiosity.

My husband and I can't stop laughing about the OP.

Our Melanarus' name is "Trouble" and our Valentini is "CJ" (for Captain Jack, from Pirates of the Carribean).

So much personality LOL.

I'll probably get flamed for this but we have a Panther Grouper (spotted grouper) in our 120gal. He's 4 years old and still under 4"s. He's more like a dog than a fish. He follows me when I walk past the tank, will take food from my hand and will actually come up to the top of tank and let me pet him. We got him at 1" and were planning a fish only tank - well that went out the window w/my nems and assorted collection of corals and he's been a celebrity to anyone who sees him.

My yellow assessor had tons of personality. Would follow my movements and do swimming acrobatics as if he was trying to get a better angle to observe from. Lost to him to a gap in the cover unfortunately. I'll be getting another as soon as ORA has them in stock again.
