Most Popular Corals Timeline (year by year)

After creating the coral of the week topic, micromussa, it got me thinking about popular corals of the past and present. Over the years different types of corals will gain momentum, hype, whatever you like to call it, and will become the coral flavor of the year(s).

Can you help me create a popular coral timeline? I am going to need some of you old school reefers to help me on this! If you can please add your input here.

Well I think we can start by knowing that last year a chalice would definitely be the most popular coral of the year. Perhaps JF My Miami.

Chalice - SC Dynamite/ various rainbow chalices that came out
SPS: Red Dragon
Z&P: Red Devil People Eater

2011:
Chalice: My Miami
SPS: ??
Z&P: utter chaos, Tyree space monster,

2010:
Z&P: red hornet

I'm sure the bubblegum monster belongs on one of those years since it.pretty much started the chalice craze.

Also, we can not forget the acan lord craze! Was that at its peak in 2008? I do not remember exactly myself.

2007 Aussie Acan Craze
2005 or 2006 Micromussas
There was a Xenia craze in the 90's...but don't know what years

I think the WWC/LE Somewhere Over the Rainbow Millipora was released in 2010 and I believe the LE Tierra Del Fuego was released in 2011. I am not too much of an SPS buff though, so I could be wrong. Both of these started mini crazes of their own during their time.

ok im going way way back!
Early 90's - SPS corals start to come in, but still pretty rare to find a tank full of them.
Mid 90's - Xenia and neon green finger leathers (neptheas)
Late 90's - Ultra Maxima and crocea clams, SPS corals start taking off
Early 2000's - zoanthid craze

I'm thinking that My Miami would be the winner for 2010.. not 2011... 2011 I would give it to BPC flamethrower. and it's too early to tell for 2012

but im thinking Mikes gonna win that one with his DynOmite
