Most popular Red Sea tank

Just trying to see what kind of Red Sea tank people have out there . Trying to decide on my next set up. It will be a Red Sea reef tank just not sure what size. Wanted to get some inside info on why the chosen tank size and if they are happy with it. Thanks in advance

I’m quite happy with my 525 as I don’t have placement for a peninsula setup.

Following along. I have plans to by the peninsula 650. But I am having second thoughts and now I can’t decide between the peninsula 650 or the xxl 625.

I prefer the Max S Series as everything is hidden away but you can still change things if you prefer.

The downside is they are much more expensive, but worth it.

Just my view anyway but all the tanks are beautiful quality.

I sometimes with I would have went with the 625xxl over my 525xl simply for the improved sump design. This is particularly important if you're going to use the Triton method for day-to-day care. The 525 doesn't have a separated fuge and skimmer compartments in the sump, so I resorted to converting my ATO reservoir and it's just not as seamless. I don't personally use the Triton method, but wish my sump compartment wasn't so cramped and complex. I'll likely get a replacement sump one of these days.

Interesting question, my current tank is a Reefer 450, but the only reason I went this route is because I got a great deal on the tank itself. If I’d have to choose any tank in their line, probably the Peninsilla 650 or XXL750.

To be honest, I wish they had a wider peninsilla model.

I love my XL425. It has more to do with the space you plan to use for it. Just get the biggest one you can!

I just recently learned that they're discontinuing the model that I have two of, and enjoy very much, the 450. Why, Red Sea, why?

I must admit, as a 450 owner myself, it is a really ‘sweet spot’ model! It’s just under 100 gallons in the display, yet maximizes swimming area with its emphasis on length over depth.
