I have caps in the last but not currently. Not really interested in the normal stuff. I've seen the grafted and it's okay, same with the Leng Sy. Those appear to be the more nicer caps out there. However, is there something else out there I'm missing?

If so, please share.

Not really. The only one worth keeping in the Leng Sy, IMO - the others just take up space. I would not even keep a Leng Sy unless you can give it all kinds of UV spectrum to make the purple rim really shine.

The starburst is nice with its yellow polyps and it doesn’t grow as fast as most. The seasons greetings cap is nice as well, green with red polyps. I’ve seen purple caps with green polyps but haven’t come across any for sale.

I do have the seasons greetings. Slow grower for me. I think it may need more light

I'll take a look at the starburst.

I don't have this but I really want it

What's that one called and where to find it!

I've put in multiple requests on the web site. It's on the reef gen website

None really. Leng Sy is nice. Starburst is nice because the yellow polyps.. Otherwise, Caps are the best growth structure but the worst colors. I'd have so many monti's if they were all caps

Reefgen is wholesale only. That is probably their M. spongodes/confusa, not a cap. The pink coloring is a byproduct of the LEDs, btw.

But I do have that coral and its very nice.

That just looks like a montipora spongodes. Obnoxiously fast grower. To a fault. Laughs off pure kalk paste and just keeps growing despite my efforts To control it. I’ve thrown away frags the size of that pic just to get them out of the way

Also heard of one called sunfire, anyone know that one?

How do you get it to grow like that

Just give it time. Once it has acclimated and is comfortable it will be off to the races. It’s one of those corals that you literally cannot give it too much light. Mine is actually touching the water surface under an 8x54 watt ati sunpower in the center, and is the fastest growing thing in the tank. I don’t have a par meter but based on BRS par data on the sunpower I’d estimate it’s getting somewhere in the neighborhood or 700 par. The higher it grows the faster it grows too. Otherwise I don’t do anything. Blast it with light and flow, stable alk. Detectable but low nutrients
