Mother Nature's canvas - Cyano

Set up my new BIO Cube tank about two weeks ago. Red and green Cyano all over the rocks, but its so artistic, I almost hate to get rid of it. I've been putting it off because it looks so cool, but its time.

Ah. Finally someone who appreciates the beauty of the lower cast algae.

Definitely cool.

Cyano is pretty amazing - there are stones/entire layers of stone strata formed from ancient compressed cyanobacteria/other microorganisms. The stone is called stromatolite and can also be really beautiful.
