moules on my zoas colony

Hello
Few days ago I purchased a zoa colony,and I found some moules on the rock,where some polyps are living on it..
Theses moules are alive cause I see them sometimes they open their shells and sometimes they are totally closed..
Can they cause any harm for my tank??

The mollusk are fine, they'll not hurt anything. Filter feeders that might die off if there is not enough particulate matter to provide for their nutritional needs.
