Howdy,
We are getting my brother (2) AI Prime HD's for his birthday March 16th. He has a 65 gallon mostly FOWLR but beginning to dable in corals as he sees my tanks. His tank has glass tops & a canopy... I am going to convince him to replace the glass lids with mesh once he opens the lights. My question is I want to hard mount the lights to the underside of the canopy which is about 6" above the lid & another 4" from the water. If we turn the intensity down I feel this will be OK. Let me know what you think?
For mounting them I was really unsure of what to use & was looking for some help here.
