Mounting a dosing punp vertically help?

So i have been thinking that i could use some more roomin ny stand...it came to me. I use a jeabo dp4 dosing pump. I am wondering if i can saftely just lay the unit on its side so the pump goes vertically instead of horizontally. I am trying to make space and this will work if there is no issues witht his idea.

Besides access to the pump there should be no issue with functionality.

So you do not think there will be back siphon. Some people said that can happend but i do not understand how that could happen.

No problem, it's the rollers that keeps the line from siphoning.

You could easily test it. But it's not how that kind of pump works.
