Mounting an AI Hydra 52 (not HD)

I recently bought a Hydra 52 from a friend of mine, and thought I had the mounting solution figured out. I went out and bought the 52 mounting bracket, but when I went to install it today it doesn't seem like the screws are long enough to reach the holes in the light.

I guess my question is, is there a different mounting bracket for the old 52's vs the new 52HDs?

Which brackets did yoy get?

I belive they are universal for vegas, hydras, sols.

That's the one I got. I've attached a couple photos of the light itself as well.

Yeah, I think you needed the classic mount.
That sucks.
I bought the wrong hanging kit as well, but rigged it to work.

I'd just go to hardware store and get longer bolts. IF they line up.

Sorry for bumping an old thread but did you find a solution to this? I just ran into the same problem with a classic Hydra I purchased and went out and got the hms mounting arm only to find the same issue.
