Mounting Controllers Etc

What do people use to mount controllers, ballasts, adapters etc to their stands/boards? I'm lucky enough to have a dedicated fish room so space isn't an issue. I've been using 'L' brackets but would like something a little nicer, a little less DIY. Unfortunately none of my equipment has mounting holes.
