Mounting h80 on 1/4 in plywood

I finished the top of my stand inside with 1/4 in plywood. I didnt expect to be mounting a h80 in with the canopy mount. But i am afraid that it could fall. Would it be fine with 2 screws. Dont want to mount it and have it fall into the sump

I think it should fine.
I have my h380 mounted over my sump in a very similar setup

Not going anywhere unless you hang on it. Just don’t screw down to the point you strip out the wood
