I have a Wyze webcam on my tank, currently it's stuck on one of the gyre magnets. While the gyre magnets are a convenient place to stick the camera, I would like the ability to move the camera around or maybe add a couple more for when I travel.

So this sent me down the path of looking for a good mounting solution that I can move around as needed. I'm considering something like a Mag-Float that's a little oversized for my glass thickness hoping it would hold the weight of the camera I'd stick onto it. That could get a little pricey if I wanted to add 2-3 more cameras though when I travel, though.

Am I overlooking a simpler option?

Did you ever figure something out? I'm looking to add a webcam to my tanks but wasn't sure how to mount them.

should be easy enough to fabricate a bracet out of acrylic from home depot.

Heat gun
Acrylic cut to size something square about the width of your tank.
smaller square that is the width of the wyze bracket hole

gently heat the acrylic and slowly bend around the square object.
do the same for the other side but opposite direction. So the one U goes over the tank lip, the other holds goes into the wyze bracket.
No magnets in tank and its clear.
