Mouth parasite or infection

Hi guys

Ill try to give as much info as i can:

Tomini tang bought on 3/5 from a store that apparently runs low salinity (or bagged low by accident) at 1.016 and low level copper (not disclosed in store but i tested the bag water at 0.75ppm with a hanna checker). wont be going back there again

Anyway, shes going through the Hybrid TTM protocol in a 10 g tank with an air stone, a couple sections 3" pvc and a heater- yesterday was her transfer from TTM2 to TTM3. She had a successful 150ppm H2O2 treatment at the 1-2 change. ive been removing 0.5 gallon from the 8 gallon volume and replacing it with 1.026 water to bring up the salinity to match the observation tank, which she is due to go into on 3/17

Has been eating pellets, a little bit of mysis, didnt touch the nori offered on days 2-5, so i stopped. too much clouding the water.

Anyway- this morning i noticed a BIG bump, kinda like a mouth ulcer, on the left side of her mouth. theres also signs of the same starting to develop on the right side. Youtube video butchered the quality but you can see it in the vid.



Im thinking it might be bacterial, but it looks more like a tick, to be honest.

Thinking about antibiotics, i have these on hand-
NFG
Kanaplex
Metroplex

Also GC and CP but probably useless in this case.

She is due for her second H2O2 bath on saturday morning.

any ideas?

Agree.

Cipro is good, you can use it as a bath as it's very tough on the biological filter.

You could mix Sulpha with Neomycin (which would function like the Trifecta the op mentioned).

Baytril is a derivative of cipro and seems to work well, it's not as hard on the biofilter it seems so it can be dosed in the QT tank instead of daily 3 hour baths.

Yes. Some of the other options may be superior and work faster but they're less available.

If it's lympho, you can just take the fish out, pin it gently, and scrape it away from the mouth. I've had to do this once. Works well.

As Lympho is a virus, helping the fish's immune system is the best treatment. I have a Foxface that "had" lympho showing and it would not go away. Then I started adding Beta Glucan to the food. The Lympho presentation went away and has not come back. Here's some info on BG and the benefits for Lympho:

It could be, but lympho is harmless 99/100.

Of those choices, NFG standalone. Bubbler and small powerhead breaking surface. Watch ammonia it CAN be hard on the system.

SHes in the 3rd TTM tank. Should I start NFG now (yes, obviously) and perform h2o2 as planned Saturday morning? Then transfer to 4th TTM but do 14 days NFG instead of putting her in observation tank after round 4?

Yes on all fronts, that sounds good. H202 isn't something I've toyed much with yet, however.
