Move it, or tear down and sell?

Not sure what I’m gonna do. Decided to get serious about buying a new house.

Pro’s for moving it... I can set it back up learning from my previous mistakes and space-constraints that made it difficult to really have an organized sump area.

I would have a steel tubing stand made etc and have much better access underneath. May even do an off-set sump sitting next to it or in another room etc.

Con’s are the costs I put into it, and I wouldn’t set up another. Basically out of the hobby....... And the hassle of dealing with selling stuff of course.

I’ll probably move it. I know once I get to a nee house I’ll wish I had it!

I would sell and get new. Moving stuff is a pain, fish stuff even more of a pain

I am moving cross country and just had my LFS take all my live stock Monday, they will send me frags once I am settled it. Originally I moved 40b from buffalo Ny to Minneapolis Mn, that was a pain, and I moved my 90 from my rental to my current home (local) that took a day and luckily I had overlap but still was a pain. So no way I’m I going to move my stuff from Minneapolis to California. It sucks at first selling off but it feel like the right thing to do, if you have a good relation with your LFS they can tear it down in a few hours without hassle. I decided to sell my dry good and tank also to build a new one, but you can always keep you tank and start over. Yes starting over is annoying but TBH after 10 years for me a break is nice, my tank had some issues after being up for 5 years but thats the game.
