Hello there R2R community. I have recently (9 months) moved over to the SW end of the aquatic spectrum. So just a fore warning, I will probably ask some questions that may have been answered. In short, I suck at searching forums. So if a face smack is needed, I will accept it lol. Now on to explain what I have and where I am at.
I am located in Middle Tennessee.
I currently have 4 tanks set up, with 2 of the SW, 1 FW, and 1 Brackish. As well as my wonderful Koi Pond.
Tank 1 - 125g Dual Overflow Display / 40 gallon sump with fuge / everything needed to have a proper reef setup. Tank is 9 months old and the last 4 months it has tested perfect. Its inhabitants include 2 Black & White Ocellaris Clownfish (mated pair), 1 fire goby, 2 Engineer Gobys (Mated Pair), 1 Green Mandarin Goby, 1 Lawnmower Blenny, crap ton of hermits and snails, and 2 emerald crabs. The fuge is full of cheato and pods. I introduced my first coral about a month ago (green button polyps) and they doing great. Almost too great.
Tank 2 - 28g JBJ NanoCube / Live rock and cheato in sump / Live rock and sand only and used as a QT / Snails and hermits as well.
Tanks 3 - 15g brackish tank / lightly plated / low flow and a happy fat Spotted puffer. This tank will move over to about 1.022 sg soon and be a SW tank.
Tanks 4 - 15g fresh water tank / planted and stocked with to many little fish to list.
2800 gallon Koi Pond with enough UV to cook with (full sun pond, glad its 4 ' deep). Numerous 25+ inch Japanese Koi (all over 10 years old) that were named by my wife, a 6lb Smallmouth from our creek (she eats feeders we put in there), and a few bluegill to keep mosquitoes and baby koi to a minimum.
