Mover / Rigger to handle heavy tank move

Has anyone worked with a mover / rigger to move a heavy tank into their house and lift it onto a cabinet? I've had 600 pounds of glass sitting in my garage for a few weeks and can't find anyone to do this. I believe that lift tables, dollies, suction cups, and 6 strong people are needed. I'm in central NJ.

I used movers to move a 180g from my garage to my basement years back. Used a refrigerator dolly and didn’t take very long. It was a small company (the larger movers will want a minimum dollar amount and it will be a high $ for showing up, even though it may not take long). I think I paid around $80 for 2 guys to help me just to give you an idea (obviously you’ll need more).

Have you checked with some LFS nearby? It took 4 guys to move my 300dd which I’m guessing is around that weight. They had the necessary equipment. Wasn’t cheap for me because they picked up the tank from another location an hour away with stand/canopy and moved into my home.

Another option is to post on a local reef/club forum, offer some pizza and beer and/or some cash.

Call a moving company. I think it cost me $200 to move my 3/4" 300 gallon tank which was around 600 lbs.

I had my friends help 4 ppl total to move a 170 was about 400 I’d say
I will say once u have them up they are lighter then you think with 6+ guys I moved an acrylic tank 1,000 gallons with 8 guys the issue is more Maneuvering it then lifting in my opinion

A place that does fish tank maintenance should be able to handle this

Yellow pages- under labor help also. Other options- Planet fitness who had members help move my 360g tank.

I used a Fish tank Maintenance company to move my 400 pound tank they charged me $380.00 which I think was too high.

Three professional riggers with specialized knowledge, temporary ramps, lifting equipment, and careful attention to detail. I'll start a build thread at some point. Here are a few pictures from today's work:
