Movin Driller Fishtank, suggestions?

Hey Guys, how has everybody been? Thanks in advance for any constructive suggestions.
I am attempting to move my 70 gallon drilled fish tank with the bulkheads in place. The tank is drilled from underneath, both holes are on the same corner. I am planning on renting a truck and laying the tank on its back side on top of towels and bubble wrap and anything else you guys suggest.
I am pretty wary of removing the bulkheads and It would make my life simpler this way.
Or what would you guys suggest?

Why are u against removing the bulkheads??

Afraid to crack the glass, dont have replacement bulkheads or appropriate tools. But if putting the tank on its side is a big risk, I would have to remove bulkheads.
But if putting the tank on its side its not a big deal for the tank and there is a way to safely do it I'd rather to that.

I have put my tank on its side. Just wouldn't do if for an extended amount of time.

It will be a 40 mins drive probably, any suggestions on how to protect the glass?

Ah I used blankets straps
The straps weren't super tight tho just tight enough so it wouldn't no wand I drove very carefully

Towels and moving blankets work. So do old comforters.

Another option is to strap it to a couple furniture dollies. They're like $10/each at harbor freight. They'll hold the weight easily and allow room for the bulkheads to stick down.
