Hi, I need to move my 225 gallon aquarium about a foot to the left. Was wondering if it would be possible to drain to around 3 inches and leave the rock and sand in and then push a foot to the left. Here’s the tank

Any thoughts?

Solid flooring or carpet? Smooth or textured surface? Do you have anyone to help? If it were me, I'd get something like this furniture moving set

I do have multiple people to help
Do you have suction cups? And are these people fairly large? I mean, it could definitely be done without that furniture moving kit, when I'm doing it on my own that's what I use, but if you've got people to help, it should be able to be accomplished one way or another... I am not sure I'd try to just push it tank and all, but if you have a few people with suction cups lift the tank, push the stand a bit, have them move over the stand again, push the stand a bit more, etc, it could be done with a decent crew of people...

It would only take the slightest bit more effort to put the fish in buckets, drain as much as possible and pull out the rocks and most of the substrate.
