Hi everyone,
I purchased a set up and fully cycled Fluval Evo 5. I will be setting it up basically exactly as it was but need to know how and what to expect.
The rock has coral attached so it was put into 5 gallon buckets with enough water to cover and using filter floss and sponge to prevent it from knocking against the bucket walls (hopefully!). Vehicle temperature is set to 78F and the buckets were put in a larger tote that is secure in the back with gear, tests, and a bunch of other goodies packed around to keep it snug. I have all old media and substrate too.
How do I go about rebuilding this to keep stress on corals at a minimum? There are no fish, just the rock with LPS / softies and some CUC (one shrimp, a couple of snails and some hermits(.
Thanks!
