Moving a reef tank

Hey, so as I stated in a previous post, I'm buying a 180 gallon reef tank from someone who lives 3 hours away. My question today is do I need to be worried about the coraline that has grown on the back of the tank? Should I scrub it all off before refilling it with water?

It won't harm anything, but personally I'd take the time to scrape it and thoroughly clean it before setting it up again.
