Hey guys. I'm getting ready to move my tank (80 deep blue) a couple miles down the road. Moving in with the lady. I was wondering if there are any tips I should know. I plan on doing as much as I can at her house first. There is a closet adjacent to where the tank will be placed that I plan on utilizing. I want to put 2 20H's in the closet, top off and water change water.

Anyway, so far I have planned the layout of the closet, and started construction. My main concern is the length of horizontal pipe that will be feeding the gravity fed ATO. It will be close to 6' and will be fed through a mall reactor. Should I go with a float switch, or will the gravity fed option work.

I also kinda wanted to put the reactors (carbon, phosphate) in the closet along with the fuge. Here is where my main concern for the horizontal pipe comes into play. I will feed the fuge from the displays main pump, and utilize a beananimal overflow system on said fuge. Will the length of horizontal pipe interfere with the gravity fed syphon? The last thing I need is to flood my fiances den! LoL

So most of the post has been rambling, but I am definitely open for suggestions and assistance with the fuge drain.

Thanks for reading!

Every time I move a tank, I put a polyfilter in the sump to absorb any junk that gets stirred up, along with an Algone packet. Has always worked for me!
