Just got a new tank (used so it's cycled) and I want to move my yuma mushrooms over from my other tank. However the tank they are in now has a serious algae problem and I don't want to move any of that live rock into my "new" tank. Whats the easier way to move them / remove them from the rock and reattach them?

Thanks!

Use a wet band saw and cut the rock right below the mushroom. your lfs might be able to help you out with that. or you could soak the rock in a solution of 25% peroxide and 75% saltwater.
