I am getting my new tank up and running, but it is going to go where the old one is. The old one is really more of a large system than just 1 tank. Can people please share some advice with switching out tanks...It is going to be one huge mess that has to be done really quickly. I am actually beginning not to look forward to getting ti up and running, but my 75 is getting so full that I need this 190 to be running soon.
Thanks

*I like learning from others advice, both good experiences and bad ones too. So please don't hold anything back.
Thanks,

I am currently borrowing a stock tank and will do a large water change once I'm up and running. Get the slime off from the ****** off colonies.

In the past I've set up a smaller tank near by and transferred my live rock and stock over into it. Kept most of the water and sand in buckets. Remove the old system and setup the new tank and transfer stuff back. Hope it goes well for you.

Yeah, moving sand is not enjoyable. I plan on doing large water changes every day for the week there after. Mixing up all that sand detritus isn't ever a good idea.
