I’m moving from Colorado to Wisconsin in about 6 months and need to prepare for my move. I currently have a Redsea reefer 525xl. My new house is being built and I have paid for an engineer to increase the floor loading for a new Redsea 1000. I will be selling the 525xl. Now for the question to all you experts out there. I have a WWC Bounce coral that I have owned for about 5 years. It has spawned like 8 babies on one rock. I bought a wet saw and cut one from the rock without touching the foot that I will keep for myself. Do I cut the rest from the rock and sell each one individually or do I try to sell the entire rock? I also have a New York Knicks torch coral with about 15 heads. I am going to cut one head for my new tank. Do I frag this coral up into individual heads or sell it complete? Also I have a Utter Chaos with about 80 heads that I will frag a couple of heads for my new tank. Do I frag this coral or sell the whole thing as is? The reason to frag one of each for my tank is I’m afraid to lose the entire colony’s during the move. What are your thought? Please see pictures below.
