Is it located on a rock? Frag plug?So I have a decent size JB that is popping babies out. How do I best move and reattach them for selling/trading?
They are all on a single rock.Is it located on a rock? Frag plug?
Youll want to use a dremel or bone cutters to cut them away.
Need to make sure the foot stays attached to the rock or plug.
I cut 90% of the way thru from underneath then break the rock or plug with flathead or blade.
A picture world help. They are all on a single rock.
Youll have to cut the rock and chip the pieces off. They are all on a single rock.
Gotcha makes sense.A picture world help.
Fragging mushrooms off of live rock can be as easy as cutting a sliver of live rock underneath the foot away, with a sharp woodworking chisel. Do not hit it with a hammer, Patrick is to present the blade slowly to the rock, supporting it with both of your thumbs and using a pairing cut.
Even easier that they are on elevated tipsGotcha makes sense.

The orientation of those babies lends itself well to fragging directly off of the rock.Gotcha makes sense.

This sounds like creating two chances for an infection where one doesn't need to be.if you can... wait until they are a bit bigger. use a razor blade and cut between the top and the foot with a clean razor blade. place the tops in a shroom box to regrow a foot and attach. If enough tissue is left on the cut foot they can regrow a new top.
Also, jawbreakers are some of the worst mushrooms to have to get to reattach. This sounds like creating two chances for an infection where one doesn't need to be.
