I had a decent sized rose bubble tip hitchhike on some live rock.

I set the live rock up so it was in a cool spot but it keeps moving during the night

I don’t have any experience with them.

do I need to do anything or is it just going to keep moving until it finds a spot it likes?

I also keep moving the rock around while
I’m Aquascaping.

here’s a picture of it from before

They will typically do this when first introduced to a tank, and may up and find a new spot out of the blue. Best to just let them figure it out on their own (unless they're headed for a powerhead at which point then I'd intervene).

I have the same issue. Mine was placed high in the middle of my 55 gallon tank and it moved from their across the tank and in the back of my live rock. It tucked itself under a live rock at the bottom of my tank and has not moved for several days. Everything else is thriving. My water parameters are correct. I have two Hydra 32 HD lights that are set at: UV, Violet, Royal, Blue at 82%; Green and Deep Red 8%, Moonlight 0%, Cool White 36%. Should I move it or leave it alone?

They seem to need to find their own spot. You can encourage them, but I wouldn't stress over it. Just let it ride for a while. Chances are it'll come out on its own.

Best thing you can do with anemone is leave them alone.

Thanks for the advice. It finally came out into the open. I fed it and made it happy, so it's just sitting where it wants to.

My experience with bta’s over the last 5 months has been let them work out a spot on there own and feed no more than once a week and everything will work it’s self out. yours looks really healthy so should be fineMine was a similar size to yours when I got it 5 months on it was the size of a small plate this is what it looked like before splitting last week.
