I recently purchased my first coral, a pink polyp. It has 4 heads with 2 new ones started. I placed in my tank on the live rock as suggested by LFS. However things changed this morning, the coral had moved. I picked it up to replace it onto the rock and noticed that a crab has taken residence. The polyp is attached to a shell apparently and a member of my CUC has decided to move in. Any suggestions as to what I should do? If the crab drags the polyp around the tank will it kill my coral? should I remove the crab?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Eventually the crab will release the polyps and that will probably happen behind/underneath a rock.....decoration crabs are very cool and interesting creatures but they can be a costly part of a clean up crew.
